ahhh!
SALT RETREAT ROX
yup! i went for my 1st eva
church camp 18-19 march
and it was so memorable!
yes though it's only 2 days,
it has been really fun!
but at the same time i kinda
missed my hockey teammates
cuz i couldn't show up to
play the friendly match.....
hey, sorry guys, i did pray
for you all though! really!
we had this secret pal thg
smthg like angel and mortal.
hmm so george is my pal!
i sort of guessed it but dun dare
to anyhow say! haha! thx
dude! really thoughtful! but
alws saying he's bored.
father simon came!
he totally rocks! halleluah!
god bless this guy!
he made my spiritual life
flourish even more!
so much inspiration!
the sharings were really heart
warming.. most of us
like cried cuz though we look
as if we are really carefree,
inside us, there are so many
insecurities, confusion, our
souls are screaming for help
but the masks we put on
prevented others frm knowing
and so we kept these problems
to ourselves, locked in our hearts,
if there ain't this sharing,
foreva they will eat us up inside.
i could feel the bonds in salt
being stronger and this is really
comforting. my only wish is that
we should learn to break out
of our little groupies and accept
others. even when we dunno
each other, we still could feel
how much suffering another
is feeling and i really felt the
love and comfort my grp mates
have given me. maybe u do not
know but actually it's the pple
in youth grp that has the ability
to understand wad u're going thru
cuz we have the same belief.
ohh! btw, my grp name is called....
CHAO TA BREAD!
haha! yeah each grp must b named
aft a type of bread, at first we
wanted "kaya toast" but another
grp overheard us n took it!
haiz.. nvm! but anw, we won
the treasure hunt! and we had
the most original idea for the
make the most out of 2 sheets of
newspaper. yeah!
all in all, really had lotsa fun!
made new friends and friendships
were really stronger than before!
hope to have another retreat nxt yr.
howeva, unfortunately, i also
brought with me a lot of mosquito
bites! i hate those darn little flying
things! they suck! they made my
sleep miserable! n i had a lack of slp!
n i'm suffering frm lotsa lotsa itch
ahhhh! like i'm diseased!!!
hopefully i'll recover!
yeahhh.. now i'm in free access!
